Arc extend their range of Arc branded products with the launch of 3 new products.  Arc Duct Tape is a premium grade waterproof cloth tape.  Arc Line Marking Paint is available in 5 colours; yellow, white, red, green & blue.  Arc Flexible Floor Grout is a flexible, mould and stain resistant grout suitable for all tile types and substrates available in grey and ivory.

RAPSTRAP

Arc launches Rapstrap at the Irish Hardware Show in Citywest after been appointed the exclusive distributor for Ireland.

In April 2008, Andy Harsley was invited to Pinewood Studios to demonstrate the rapstrap to five of the UK's leading entrepreneurs on the BBC TV show "Dragons' Den".

Rapstrap impressed the panel, securing the assistance of multi-millionaire Dragons James Caan and Duncan Bannatyne, and also a new business partner - Peter Moule from their earlier "ChocBox" investment. The company has since become increasingly busy, with enormous interest in the rapstrap coming from across the business spectrum.  Rapstrap is now expected to become the most successful venture ever to appear on the show.

The rapstrap as a more efficient alternative to traditional nylon cable ties. Now when you cut the end off, you just use it again! Made from elasticated polyurethane, a single 12 inch rapstrap typically replaces up to 4 standard ties, greatly reducing waste and lowering costs. This patented design is soft, flexible and extremely versatile. It won’t pinch or crimp like nylon ties can, and is flexible enough to be used on plants or other delicate installations.

RAIMONDI LEVELLING SYSTEM

Raimondi Leveling Spacers have been sold in much of Europe for quite a few years and now they are available in Ireland from Arc Building Products.

If you're a tile installer, you're well aware of how difficult it is to properly set flexible, large format, heavy, or low-thickness tiles because, often times, the floor foundation is uneven and/or contains imperfections. To make matters worse, tiles that seemed uniformly levelled while first installing them result in tiles that show differences as the tile adhesive sets, compromising the overall aesthetics of your initial hard work.

With the Raimondi Leveling Spacers, this potential is no longer a threat to your perfect tile project. In addition to ensuring the proper leveling of tiles, this system helps speed the tile setting process.

Arc launches a number of new products at the Irish Hardware Show held at the purpose-designed exhibition and convention centre at Citywest.

On show were their new products Rapstrap, a reusable cable tie, the Raimondi tile levelling system and LT-33 their new next generation tile adhesive.

Arc now have over 500 products in their range and many of these were on show in what proved to be a very successful show.

LT-33 LIGHTWEIGHT TILE ADHESIVE

ADVANCED LIGHTWEIGHT TILE ADHESIVE TECHNOLOGY

Following Arc's extension of its production facilities into powdered tile adhesives, Arc have launched LT-33 which is a unique next generation tile adhesive developed and manufactured in Ireland.

By replacing the sand content with lightweight fillers and special additives LT-33 offers superior coverage, flexibility, strength and workability.

INNOVATIVE:  Developed & manufactured in Ireland.

VERSATILE:  One bag does all. Suitable for virtually all tile types and substrates.

HIGHLY EFFECTIVE:  Outstanding grab and long-term strength. Outperforms BS EN 12004 Type C2TES1.

GREATER COVERAGE:  A 15kg bag of LT-33 gives the same coverage as 25kg of traditional adhesive.

ECOLOGICAL:  Higher yield per kilogram, less packaging and formulated using specially engineered recycled materials.

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL:  Flexible - Suitable for use with properly prepared timber floors and underfloor heating applications. Pourable - Up to 15mm thick and can be used to level and repair uneven and damaged wall and floor surfaces.

WORKABILITY:  Outstanding workability, mixing and clean up with no slump or shrinkage.
